Chris Moler
Chris Moler joined USIndoor in the summer of 2009. As its Sponsorship Director, Chris' primary job is to help USIndoor facility members generate revenue by assisting them, individually, with asset identification, materials development, staffing and community-based sponsorship campaigns. He fully understands the need to maximize sponsorship revenue and has established methods to cultivate the process.
Over the past 30 years, Moler has earned the reputation of a sponsorship authority through speaking engagements and sales success. Once upon a time he also managed several YMCAs and remains active with Oklahoma City Community College's recreation department, with its 85,000 combined square feet of space and nationally ranked aquatics, basketball, volleyball, fitness and weight training and outdoor sports programs.
In 2005, Moler created STAAR Solutions, serving a myriad of clients throughout Oklahoma and nationally, including the University of Missouri Recreation Center, Plex Indoor Sports (SC), Renegade Sports (FL), Boomtown Ballyards, and Oklahoma City Community College. Other clients include Dfest Music Festival, the Star Spangled Salute Air Show at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City International Auto Show, Oklahoma City University Head of the Oklahoma Rowing Regatta, The Oklahoma Centennial Commission, the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre and Bricktown Water Sports, to name a few.
Moler has presented on sponsorships and business development at over 20 national conferences and published numerous articles in national publications on sponsorship and other marketing and event management topics. Moler currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Athletic Business Magazine.
Moler earned his Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education at Oklahoma State University and his Masters Degree in Recreation Management with an emphasis on sports marketing at the University of Oklahoma. Moler resides in Oklahoma City with his wife of 15 years, Kim, and two children, Christian (14) and Carson (8).
